Evaluation

AIR project’s evaluation is an internal formative and summative project evaluation process led by Dekut. The evaluation methodology is briefly described as follows:
  • setting up of evaluation criteria and questions that focus the evaluation work on a limited number of key points, thus allowing more targeted data collection, more in-depth analysis and a more useful report;
  • listing of qualitative and quantitative indicators and desirable targets to specify in advance which data are to be collected, thus help to focus the data collection process;
  • preparation of data collection methods for the purpose of answering the questions;
  • detailing of information handling (organizing data, analyzing data, reporting results).

The evaluation process starts with the first assembly meeting at project month 3 and ends with the termination of the project at project month 30. An evaluation plan has to be delivered in project month 6. Prior to the dissemination of the evaluation plan, a list with the evaluation indicators is disseminated for a mutual understanding between all the associated and collaborative partners. From project month 3 to 30 evaluation activities will be continuously performed. At the end of the project an evaluation report has to be delivered.
The conclusions of the AIR evaluation process will be compiled in the final report. The audience of the results are the project team (associated and collaborative AIR partners) and all those others who are potential users of the findings and outputs of the project. These are the funding source stakeholders (EC, EAHC), persons involved with similar projects or areas of research, community members, especially those who are directly involved with the project or might be involved and members of the responsible political community.
