Methodology
 

There are six work packages, one for each principal stage of the AIR project: coordination of the project (WP1), literature review and exchange (WP4), survey (WP5), selection and analysis of the actions (WP6), dissemination of the results (WP2) and evaluation of the project (WP3).

The methodology of the project rests on two fundamentals:

1.  “Core” of the project

WP4
: The objective of this work package is providing evidence of intervention in the primary health care settings that reduce health inequalities. To this end, a literature review of primary care interventions will be undertaken with a specific focus on intervention evaluated in terms of their impact on health inequalities and a comprehensive framework of interventions will be constructed.

WP5: The objective of this WP is to realize a survey throughout the EU and to collect the information on action reducing health inequalities in primary care settings.

WP6: The objective of this WP is to identify actions to reduce health inequalities implemented in primary care settings, to assess the effectiveness of these actions as well as to develop a catalogue of good practices.

2. “Packaging”of the project  

WP2: The objective of this work package is to ensure the best dissemination of the project’s results thought communication tools: website, newsletters, leaflets, professional’s network and decision makers. As specific objective of this WP is to disseminate of the intermediate and final results of the project.

WP3: The evaluation of the project will provide specific knowledge of the project’s performance, to facilitate improvements regarding project management tasks and to verify whether the project has attained its goals and objectives.
